PJD Creations, inc. is a decorative painting company dedicated to the art and craft in the ever expanding field of Decorative Painting. PJD not only strives to deliver the finest most unique and original treatments using the latest state of the art materials, but are also on a constant search for new and different ways to expand their growing portfolio of decorative paint finishes. Owner’s Pam and Dave Schmidt, husband and wife team once active in the teaching, conventions, book and videos aspect of the field have stepped back to focus more on developing their own style and pursuing their own interests. This focus and dedication has lead to the introduction of unusual materials and techniques such as mould making, carved concrete, handmade wall papers, textured finishes, and custom design services including murals and stencils.
Although a small company (by choice), PJD’s list of clients has steadily grown over the years. They have worked with some of the largest well known builders and designers in the Indianapolis area. They remain small by choice which they feel offers them better control and quality of their work. Crews seldom exceed 4 or 5 artisans and usually average 2 to 3 maintaining a more consistent quality, which is sometimes lost when to many hands are involved.
As testament to their attention to detail, creativity and quality with each job, there is an enormous amount of repeat business from passed clients.
